One Day Excursions

Destinations

Duration 7 to 8 hours

  • Departure in the morning at a time agreed and return in the afternoon.

  • The maximum capacity of passengers during the one day trips is nine persons.

  • The price comprises sandwiches, fruit, coffee, tea, soft drinks & water.

  • You will  find on board snorkeling gear & several sea toys, free at your disposal.

Weather permitting, you have the choice between two magnificent routes:

Plati & Pserimos Islands

Plati is a beautiful uninhabited little island SE of Kalymnos' main port. There, we can have our first stop for swimming and fruit at a bay with a picturesque chapel devoted to the Saint protector of mariners, St Nicholas.


Then we sail to Pserimos, a delightful island of about forty permenant residents. There you will have the option either to visit the port which comprises a beach, to see the inhibitent aspect of the island or we may sail to the SE side of the island at the pristine bay that, with a bit of luck, often enough may be enjoyed exclusively. In both cases this stop lasts for about an hour and a half and you will be able to enjoy the scenery, the yacht, reflreshements and freshly made sandwiches.

On the way back to Pothia we cross the Kalymnos - Plati channel, where quite often we have the pleasure of being greeted by the wild dolphins who live in the area. 

Pezonda & Palionissos bays

Pezonda and Palionissos are two remoted bays on the NE side of Kalymnos with captivating rocky cliffs and unspoiled Dodecanesian imagery. Starting from Kalymnos' port Pothia and after an hour and half of sailing we arrive at our first stop, Pezonda, a secluded bay inaccessible by other means.  There you may enjoy the pristine turquoise waters, freshly cut fruit and refreshements. Next, we visit the extraordinary bay of Palionissos which combines wild beauty and three hospitable family restaurants. On the way back to Pothia we pass from the Kalymnos - Plati channel where often enough we are blessed with the greeting of the wild dolphins that live in that area.
